The PERFECT Fit

Bust - Measure your chest around the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra that fits well.

Waist - Measure the narrowest part of your waistline. Snug, but not too tight.

Hips - Measure the fullest part of your hips, all the way across your cheeks.

The Iconic "Hourglass Figure"

YES! The right shapewear can reduce your dress size!

Foundation undergarments are ESSENTIAL to achieve the proper vintage look, and the right ones will completely change the look and fit of your clothing.

A key item for an authentic look is a one-piece girdle, or "all-in-one" to provide the most support and smooth out EVERYTHING. To dive into wearing foundation garments a little more slowly you may wish to start with a waspie, a short under-bust corset that nips in the waist, and a panty girdle for everyday wear.

I prefer genuine vintage undergarments as the materials used were designed for shape, not comfort. Even though genuine vintage girdles are hard to come by, a few retailers, including Rago Shapewear and Orchard Corset offer a wide range of vintage-inspired styles and colors.

A flirty petticoat will give your skirts and dresses that full, swishy vintage look. Try one (or more) in different lengths and colors for something extra.

If you are unsure about which garments to wear I'm always available to answer any questions you might have.

It truly does not matter what size you are, the goal is to create a defined contrast between your bust, waist, and hips. Once you decide what to wear, accessorize, be confident, and feel fabulous!
